Firefly Launches Delaware Transportation Program

Firefly Music Festival has teamed up with Visit Delaware, Delaware Lottery, Delaware Office of Highway Safety and DART to develop the Visit Delaware Shuttle Program, a statewide transportation system that will bring local festival-goers to and from The Woodlands for the weekend. The shuttle will make stops at the beaches and around northern Delaware. A weekend pass allowing unlimited rides will be available for $49.

“We’re thrilled to partner with these community-focused organizations to launch the Visit Delaware Shuttle Program,” shared festival director Stephanie Mezzano. “Fans staying throughout the state and beyond will have a simple way to get to the festival - from the beach, their school, or even their homes – all without having to stress about travel.”

The Visit Delaware Shuttles will run Friday thru Sunday with multiple arrival and departure times, and will make stops at the following locations:

  • Delaware Beach Line - Holiday Inn Express Bethany Beach, Hyatt Place Dewey Beach, and Sleep Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach
  • Wilmington Line - Wilmington Station (Amtrak), Hilton Wilmington-Christiana, and Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington-Christiana
  • University of Delaware/Newark Line - Embassy Suites Newark-Wilmington South and Homewood Suites Newark

Shuttle arrival times are 11AM, 1:30PM, 4PM & 7PM and departure times are 9PM, 10PM, 12AM, 1AM & 2:30AM.

Additionally, the Firefly Regional Express is another transportation option available to anyone coming to the festival from New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Washington, D.C.
