Lady Gaga and longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky are officially engaged!

The internet was in a frenzy on Sunday (July 28) after the "Edge Of Glory" songstress introduced Polansky as her "fiancé" to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The unexpected interaction was recorded and shared to TikTok by Attal himself.

In the video, viewers see Gaga hugging the Prime Minister before handing the conversation over to Polansky saying "this is my fiancè," as her beau shakes hands with Attal. Fans immediately took to the comment section of the post in shock, as this is the first time the A Star Is Born standout has confirmed she's engaged.

Rumors of the pair's possible engagement began to swirl in April 2024 after Gaga was spotted with a "massive diamond ring" on her wedding finger during a walk through West Hollywood. Paparazzi immediately noted the potential wedding hardware and captured multiple snaps for little monsters across the globe.

Despite alleged evidence of an engagement, the couple disregarded hearsay and kept the news private...until now! The "Born This Way" standout performed at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on Friday (July 26) strutting along the Seine River as she sang "Mon Truc en Plume" in French, per Billboard.

Gaga is currently working on her highly-anticipated forthcoming album, LG7, and filming for Joker: Folie à Deux, set to hit theaters this fall!
