This Woman's Cover of Missy Elliott's 'Work It' Is Hilariously Good

Missy Elliot's Funky White Sister

Missy Elliott's iconic 2002 single "Work It' is making the rounds on Instagram after a video of a woman doing a seriously good job with a karaoke cover has gone viral.

In the clip, the middle-aged woman slays Missy's beat and lyrics without messing up once, all while holding a shofar in her hand. And in case you're wondering what a shofar is... it's a musical horn, usually used for Jewish religious purposes, typically made from a ram or bull's horn.

Both Missy Elliot and Jada Pinkett Smith posted clips from the hilarious video where the woman identifies herself as "Missy's Funky White Sister."

Missy captioned her Insta video: "I just found out I have a FUNKY WHITE SISTERđŸ˜łđŸ˜©đŸ€ŁđŸ˜‚ but hold up she brought her homegirl to da cookout too😳😂 she the one tiptoeing in the background with a cup of oodles & noodles in her handđŸ˜‚đŸ€Ł Yo sis done made the elephant sound toođŸ˜đŸ€ŁđŸ˜‚ I wasn’t ready for her to say put the 😾 on ya like I told ya in a low deep voiceđŸ˜©đŸ˜‚she straight up killed “Work it” with the yea yea yea at the beginning & the sound effects & allđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ˜‚ my funky white sis ft Miss Tippy Toe in the back."
