Elvis Duran took a few mins to address Taylor Swift's Instagram post from over the weekend that has been catching some attention for being a political message.

"Unfortunately, we live in a world where if you give your opinion, people fight you immediately," Duran said about Taylor's first public political endorsement. "That's why we don't get on the air every morning and have a political show. Taylor Swift agreed with that stance until this weekend..."

He went on to read portions of her post on-air where she endorses Tennessee candidates Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives because they align with her views on LBGTQ quality, gender equality, equal pay for women and more.

In a direct blow against incumbent Tennessee representative Marsha Blackburn, Taylor wrote, "I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values."
