Love isn’t dead! A man pulled off an epic Black Panther-themed proposal in Brooklyn last week. In tweets and videos posted to social media, moviegoers at Brooklyn's Alamo Drafthouse documented how a man proposed to his girlfriend dressed as King T'challa of Wakanda inside a screening of the hit Marvel movie.
The best part? He didn’t even have a ticket to the movie, he just knew his girlfriend would be there with her friends.
“Omg a guy next to us in a Black Panther outfit just proposed & she said yes & the theatre exploded in applause,” one person tweeted, along with a photo.
“Proposal at 10:15 Black Panther showing at Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn, man dressed up as Black Panther proposed to his fiancé (she said yes) who he knew would be here with her girlfriends. He didn't have tickets so left shortly after. #BlackPantherSoLit,” another person added.
