Prince William Jokes About Baby No. 3’s Name

Prince William and Kate Middleton are adjusting to life as a family of five! The Duke of Cambridge attended an Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey in London just days after their newborn son was born and gave an update on baby No. 3.

"Sleeping's going reasonably well so far," he said in a video tweeted by the Daily Mirror's royal correspondent Victoria Murphy. "So, he's behaving himself, which is good."

Prince William added that wife Kate Middleton is also doing very well and while he didn’t reveal the young prince’s name, he joked about potential monikers.

Australian High Commissioner Alexander Downer asked William if he's considered the name Alexander for his son and William replied, "Well, it's funny you should say that. It's a good name."

The Dean of Westminster, per reports, also quipped that Sir Jerry Mateparae, New Zealand's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, would like royal baby No. 3 to take after him.

"Jerry is a strong name, absolutely," William said.

As for the real bets, Albert and Arthur are said to be in the running.

As previously reported, the Duchess gave birth to the fifth heir to the throne at St. Mary's Hospital in London on Monday, April 23. Kensington Palace announced the news via social media.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz," the Palace tweeted at the time. "The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

Kate and William are also parents to Prince George and Princess Charlotte
